Christmas is a time of year to be thankful for what we have, for our families, and for the blessings in our lives. Unfortunately, not everyone is able to enjoy the safety, security, joy, warmth, magic, familiarity, and love the family home brings during the holidays. Some of the children in our community will not share that same joy during this Christmas period.
The Spirit of Chistmas Giving Back to the not so priviliged Eldorado Park children.
Although the economy is worse today than it has been in several decades, many people still enjoy the many creature comforts associated with living in a comfortable home. Most people also have everything they need to remain healthy and happy. Most will not always get what they want, but have everything they need.
Giving is a wonderful way to brighten the lives of so many deserving children. There are many ways to give to others which may include making a toy, clothing or food donation to Eldos Toy Drive, adopting a child's dream and making their Christmas, making a monetary donation for buying the supplies necessary for a family to make a holiday meal, and donating items of clothing so that they can also wear new clothes like the other more priviledged children in the community.
Remember… There is usually someone less fortunate out there than you. When you decide to give from the heart, you never go wrong. Christmas is the time to make magic happen!
