Phela Giving Back has finally received certification from the Gauteng Department of Social Development and is now a registered NPO. We will in the next couple of weeks be actively starting a marketing campaign with the view of obtaining sponsorship and contributions from our big family. These sponsor-ships will see us increasing our the amount of feeding schemes in Eldorado Park. We are currently financially restricted to only one feeding scheme in Kersie dorp, but with every contribution that we get, we will be able to include another extension in Eldorado Park. Our goal is to have a feeding scheme operating in every extension in Eldorado Park by the end of the year. We are targeting feeding about 1000 under-priviledged children in this great community by the end of the year. We are also going to set up social development programs in Eldorado Park in the next year. Our goal is to providing these under priviledge children with health, welfare, education and extra mural facilities such as classes in sports (soccer, rugby, cricket, karate, athletics, etc) development, social (drama, dancing, singing, ballet, etc) development. We need to get these children off the streets of Eldorado Park and away from all the bad influences into more productive practices.
